I'm on an 09 SG with an oil cooler, V&H exhaust, SE Ventilator A/C, SEST, and S&S 510G cam set.
This morning on my way to work I noticed that at a stop light (at idle) my oil pressure is at around 32. When I pop the throttle it really jumps. On the highway its at 60. I don't remember seeing my oil pressure this high before. How concerned should I be?
Ony a 25 minute ride to work, but it was already in the mid 70s this morning outside. I'll be sure to take the long way home this afternoon when it's in the 90s and see what my gauge says.
Remember oil pressure is directly related to the rpm of your engine. So the faster you rev the engine the higher the oil pressure. Higher pressure at idle when the bike is cold will also give a higher reading. Since you have an oil cooler, you should see a higher pressure with the cooler oil as well
I am running a fueling high pressure high volume oil pump/cam plate combo and after a 600 mile ride idle is around 26 psi and rollin' down I90 it is at 63 psi. Sounds normal if you are using a different oil pump.

Sounds like normal operation. Don't sweat it.
Now if your oil pressure drops to zero, you've got a problem...
Mine was acting the same as yours last year. Opened it up and checked cam tensioners and found dirt, crud, something making my oil relief spring stick. But mine is a 2006 EGU with 20000 on it at the time.
