Fairing on RK
Most of the folks that buy Dragonfly, DeadCenter, Hoppe and Woody's fairings seem very happy with them, so any of them would likely work well for you. I chose Dragonfly initially because they have (imo) the best looking inner fairing. Dragonfly mounts the speakers from the inside, and it gives more of a factory look. Most of the other manufacturers mount the speakers from the outside, and to me, it looks more "aftermarket".
I was also impressed with how robust the Dragonfly fairings are. They are the only manufacturer to use a steel bracket that runs all the way through the inner fairing, attaching at several points. This bracket gives the fairing tremendous rigidity. Even at idle, my fairing does not shake or vibrate even a little. It bolts to the bike using the same locations as your windshield. Dragonfly used to form their fairings out of fiberglass, but in recent years have changed to a resin transfer molded composite construcion. (they are not abs plastic) They are lighter and stronger than their older, hand laid fairings.
The company is located just north of Seattle, and the owner and most of the employees all ride, and are enthusiastic about their products.

the last picture shows the bracket I was referring to. It is what bolts to your forks, and adds strength to the entire inner fairing.
Compare that to the way most of the other manufacturers just attach the bracket to just the bottom part of the fairing

Take your time and shop around. Most guys that have detachable fairings tend to leave them on most, if not all the time. You'll want it to be something you enjoy looking at as well as serving it's functional purpose.
