Some of us are spoiled for choice, with both passing and fog lamps. I only put mine on in heavy traffic. I'm not sure my old bus would like everything switched on all the time!

Wired mine so they can be on with the headlite on or off and I can use them with the high beam on. I use them when traffic is heavy.

Opposite traffic be damned. Mine are always on. Well... always on while riding of course.

Only time I turn em off while riding is as a courtesy if riding directly behind a cop.

I guess I'm the 'odd ball' here.
I only use them at night. They are wired for use on high or low beam.
I have 100w spot lamp bulbs in them and a Silver Star H-4 ST headlamp bulb.
Am thinking that is just too much for the charging system to keep up with on a continual basis.
I'm more worried about being a$$-ended!

Then I guess I'm the other odd ball because I usually only turn mine on at night or in the mornings when it's foggy....or if I get caught in the rain so other cars see me.

Only use them during rain/fog or at night.
