Two RK 103 builds
Built two 103 ci motors. This is how I spent my Saturday.
14 hours straight.
My brother and good friend both picked up Harleys 103 kit so me and my bro went for it. Lucky for me I have a old house with two separate garage spaces so things wouldn't get mixed up. What a long day, lol.
Brothers build; 2009 Roadking, Harley 103 kit with flat top pistons, HD 255 cams, torrington bearing upgrade and heavy duty clutch spring.
Marty's build; 2009 Roadking, Harley 103 kit with flat top pistons, Woods tw6 cams, torrington bearing upgrade and heavy duty clutch spring and Vance and Hines power duals.
My bros build went smooth and Marty did most of the wrenching on his bike hile just asking questions and having me double check things.
Only issue we had was with the power duals on Marty's bike. Vance and Hines had a bad batch of the power duals that the OD was too large for the slip ons to fit back on. He got the pipes from Dr. V-Twin here on the forum so I am sure he will make it good. Just suck we could not finish his build to.

96 to 103
I have 2008 RK 96 and I would love to upgrade to a 103...

Everything turned out great with the exception of waiting for the correct power duals. My brothers 103 with 255 cams runs strong and pulls hard. It would be even better if he would of had some head work done.
