need advice on a road glide windshield

I just got my 14" WindVest Gunsmoke and it performs much better than the stock H-D screen. I'm 5-9 reg., and the wind ruffles my hair. The wind noise seems to be less and I can hear the radio well at 75 mph. It looks good and the price was right. Good luck, it took me about 6 months to make a decision based on reading all the threads on various sites. Remember "function over form"!

I am one biker that can't stand big goldwing-like windshields. I acquired both the stock SE windshield and a 10 or 12" Klock Werks when I bought my SERG. The KW was on the bike and I took it off as soon as I got it home and put the shorty on. Now, I have been riding more sport bikes than cruisers over my 30 some years of riding and I pretty much only wear a full face helmet. If I didn't want wind, I would ride in one of my cagers. One of this month's bike mags has a 1000 mile road test on the latest FLTR and the writer calls the guys that complain about the wind and buffeting with the shorty w/s a bunch of "pencil-necks".

Clarks Custom Windshield
I just got a 12" Clarks Custome Contour winshield after searching many forums and websites.. $87 shipped. This works great. Radio is loud and clear. No head buffeting. Looks preety good. I am 5' 10" with a tall torso as I only have a 30" inseem.
