Going to Chattanooga and Knoxville TN in my car. Any places
to rent an Ultra that you can recommend? Also I am dying to
try the Tennesse BBQ. Any place you can recommend?
Best bet would be to contact eagle rider rentals ASAP!!!..They will set you up!! As far as BBQ You will have to get that info from a local!!! Have a Great Trip!!!!!...P.S. I think helmets are required to rent....
I would recommend Smoky Mountain HD in Maryville...Great dealership...
For BBQ I would suggest this joint just off I-75 at the Sweetwater exit, going North towards Sweetwater...I have never eaten there personally but everytime I go by there it's PACKED...Also for a little different BBQ try Ott's BBQ in Knoxville, just off I-75/40 at Watt Road in Dixie Lee Junction, then there is Deadend BBQ off of Sutherland Ave...Then of course you have the usuals...Calhoun's, Dave's, and Buddy's BBQ...
Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson is your best bet. Never rented from them, but that's where my Roadglide came from. Really nice folks to deal with, and a great shop. As far as BBQ, being a Knoxville boy who loves to eat I've tried about every BBQ place in town. My personal favorite 2 places: 1. M&M Catering on Middlebrook, it's take out only but will knock your socks off. Anything on the menu is great, but if you want something a little different try the "Pigburger" it's amazing. 2. Sweet Pea's BBQ on Maryville Pike. It's on the lake right at the Knox County/Blount County line. It's a great kinda outta the way place, killer brisket, smoked wings, and chopped pork sandwiches.
