Cant beat neoprene paddling gloves..I keep an old pair of my kayaking gloves in with my rain gear..They're warm, waterproof,precurved fingers and you'll never get another pair of gloves that grip better...NRS makes them in all temp ratings I use the light weight ones here in VA but they have winter weight ones as well...a pair will last you years
