Default Harley Auxiliary Forward lighting Kit

I recently purchased an auxiliary lighting kit for my 2010 Street Glide. The instuctions are semi helpful but I am running into some snags. First question is: Can I elect to use the Aux switch instead of adding the switch included in the kit. Second question is when wiring the turn signal wires and the gray fog lights, what slot does the gray wire insert too ....advise

Can't answer the light switch question, but the gray wire leads from the auxillary lights plug into the respective turn signal connectors inside the fairing. Position 4, I believe. If you look at the opposite side of the connector, you'll see a corresponding gray wire. I know what you mean, the instructions were pathetic. I had to look at the wiring schematics in the service manual to figure it out.

I wired mine into the spot/auxilary wiring as mentioned above and bought the spot switch and wired it into the factory connector pins. If you can follow the wiring schematics in the shop manual, it's a breeze. If you want them to work with the high beam you will need to jumper the yellow wire from the switch to a "hot" wire. I don't have my shop manual handy but I think it's the red on the aux. switch (not sure so check the diagram for sure). There is a boatload of threads on this.

I don't remenber there being 2 yellow wires on the spot switch but I am working from memory (not always good). Are you talking about the output side of the connector or from the switch?

Ok, I was off in a diferent direction. I didn't want to tie up the acc. switch so I went with the factory auxilary/spot switch and that is what I wasreffering to. Sorry for the confusion.
