Has anyone used the "American Custom Exhaust system. I recently saw this system (Tone Flex System) on TV and the harley sounded good. It also gave you the ability to change baffles which gives you a deep base rumble to mid range (louder than stock) and to stock sound. I emailed them about having to remap the engine and any changes to mpg once their system is installed but got no response. Does anyone know anything about this company? Thanks
i asked the same thing a while back but never found anyone that had installed them, i wound up getting some ss klock werks slipons since i was able to find a few on here that use them. cost me more but i value the reviews from real world folks on here. my bike is not remaped with just the slipons and it run fantastic by the way. if decide to go a high flow breather then a remap will be a must with both being changed.
I had my Street Glide 2-1 muffler done by them,I'm very pleased to say the least. I would call them if you want a response. Great people to deal with, very friendly.

I have them on my 07 sg. run them 99% of time with no baffles. I bought the mid range baffles to go with it, don't care to hear stock. I like mine.
company was quick to ship. I bought mine over phone.

I have email them, and if all you are doing is adding their slip-ons, there is no need to re-map the ECM. I never thought to ask about MPG.
i can't afford to experiment and prefer to go with something that's been out long enough to know whether it works or not. actually i really don't need most hi tech there is. one of these days, i'll buy one of those new fangled color tv's though.

Kroozeabout.
99% with no baffles is impressive. From which company did you get it shipped?
