The guy on e-bay has wild pigs for $185 or you can make an offer on them.
I have 2 questions.
1. Will I need to take my bike to the dealer for a remap of a stock 06 SG if I put these on?
2. What is the lowest price you have heard of this guy taking for these?
I paid 145 for mine from the same guy Im guessing. I had to have a high flow air cleaner and rejetted carb so I would imagine just slip ons or not youll need a re-map. Once you get them take the baffles out and unwrap the fiberglass packing and throw it away for a deeper rumble.
I may be wrong, but why would a bike need a re-map by just changing "mufflers only?" The air/fuel mixture has already gone through the engine and burned. The air/fuel is just exiting through the mufflers. Think about how many cars get mufflers changed and never need to change air/fuel mix. NOw if you change the air breather and or exhaust sytem up at the engine I can see.

Just got off the phone w/ the stealer, they said I will need a power commander or a race tuner. It will run to lean w/o one. If I put them(Pigs) on, how will I know if it is running too lean? Pull the plugs?
A plug check is a good idea, for any change, but if these come with baffles wraped, you may not need to remap, just check your plugs before and then after, a slight tan or grey color is what to look for, if it gets whiter after the mufflers are on then its running leaner, a bunch of these guys throw off on the dealer download, but Ive done two bikes now and had great results both times, a PCIII and sert are overkill if just changing to slipons and a air cleaner, and you will save a few hunddred bucks too.
I put Wild Pigs on my 05 a year ago and didnt have to do anything, and for the cost compared to 400-600 for the other brands I think they sound great. I was told as long as I didnt change anything else, there was no need for a remap
I have personally installed over a dozen sets on bone stock bikes with no ill effects wgat so ever. I installed them on my 87 EG Classic, my 98 Ultra Classic, my 2004 Ultra Classic, and 2 weeks ago on my 07 Road Glide. The 07 ran fine. I have since installed the SE air cleaner and SE Race Tuner just because I wanted to. I put a set on my buddies 05 EG Classic 4 or 5 weeks ago with no ill effects what so ever. My neighbor has them on his carbed 99 Road King also.
