Anytime Shawrco check out Ebay I see good used strut covers on there frequently. I picked some up there for under $40 for chrome pair as the guy went with black covers.

You might have mixed up the sides. Make sure you're putting the right bracket on the ride side and left on the left side.

This really is an easy install. The docking hardware fits right over the chrome side covers.

That's a great price seeing as the SG ones go for 160.00 per side new.
I too have the docking HW along with the TP mount bracket. When the parts guy told me how much for just the strut covers I almost fell over.
Purchased separately It's expensive.
I plan on drilling the holes very carefully to match the SG covers. I'll get chrome cap buttons to fill the holes if I ever go back dammm!
