I was reading somewhere on the net that Harley was considering changing the radio's to another brand and at the time I had to chuckle cause it used to be a lower end brand. Don't qoute me but thought it was Craig or somethin to that affect. Gotta be better than the HK.
Maybe Philco?
Craig? I had forgotten about them. I had a Craig 8-track player in my 1964 Impala SS back in high school.
in the op he said he had an flhx. first year of that was 2006, so we know its at least an 06.....
when did hd switch to hk from rs? (say that 3 times fast.... )
My bad Maybe H/K had more problems in the first year they were in Harleys ('06). I have had no problems but i have heard a lot of owners of the '06 say they have had them.
I was worried when I bought my '09. But not any more. It works fine.
