After finding the sweet spot with the allen wrench, when turning the adjuster screw back the 1/2 to 1 turn. Which puts the handle closer to the bars the 1/2 turn or the full turn ?. Mine seems a little to far out when it finally grabs.
Also a quick question about the easy adjust method. It says to collapse the cable and then hold the lever against the bar, turn the adjust screw cw until the lever starts to move away. Then back out 1/2 turn.. On mine that is a good 3 turns farther in then doing it the manual way. Anyone else notice this ? When doing the manual way Im guessing the lever is all the way out ?
I've read and adjusted several times but still get just a little slippage in 6th under a good load.
Here's what i do....after findin the "sweet spot" as you call it....i back out the screw about 3/4 of a turn and lock it...then reset the clutch cable with the amount of play needed to get the friction zone where you like it....done....i don't adjust the allen screw to move the clutch lever...
