Default Kuryakyn adjustable tour-pak relocator

Just installed the relocator this morning:

http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...D/27/IMID/3909

I'll have to get some pics. It works pretty slick. I think it may move further back depending on the type of mounts you have. I have an Ultra, with a non-detachable setup.

Instructions were hideous, which I think is rare for Kuryakyn. Not clear in the least with lousy pictures. However, the installation itself was a snap. I think the whole process of installation took, maybe, an hour.

I'll take some pics tomorrow morning when I have the bike out to wash it.

Just curious, how come you chose that over George Anderson's?

I don't know who George Anderson is, or what he makes.

I had one (actually 2) on my Ultra and it was really nice. Just check it over every couple of months. Both of them broke right where the bolts go through the U bar. After the second one broke, I put all the stock stuff back on.

Which pieces broke? The slider that attaches to the tour pak, or the big base plate that bolts to the u-bar? Or are you talking about the quick-release handle thingies?

i'd like to see one of those that can slide up to a solo rider position. there was a company that had one and i think they were only around for like a second.

So, here's some pics:

This is with the tour pak all the way forward. It probably could move up a bit more, but the Road Zeppelin is bigger than the stock seat.

Tour pak all the way forward:

Flick the little releases underneath the slider:

And then slide the tour pak rearward:

The U bar itself broke, right where the bolt hole is drilled.
