I'll have to get some pics. It works pretty slick. I think it may move further back depending on the type of mounts you have. I have an Ultra, with a non-detachable setup.
Instructions were hideous, which I think is rare for Kuryakyn. Not clear in the least with lousy pictures. However, the installation itself was a snap. I think the whole process of installation took, maybe, an hour.

I had one (actually 2) on my Ultra and it was really nice. Just check it over every couple of months. Both of them broke right where the bolts go through the U bar. After the second one broke, I put all the stock stuff back on.
Which pieces broke? The slider that attaches to the tour pak, or the big base plate that bolts to the u-bar? Or are you talking about the quick-release handle thingies?
i'd like to see one of those that can slide up to a solo rider position. there was a company that had one and i think they were only around for like a second.
