FWIW, when I installed mine at first I think I did it wrong and it ended up that the pipe was rubbing on the arm and piston of the brake lever and it almost wore through the pipe. It also was up too high and was close to hitting my RJ Originals heat shields. I shipped the pipe back to them and they gave me a new one (still without proper instructions) so I installed spacers behind the bracket that attaches under the tranny side cover and it made things much better (got it away from the rear brake pedal and sits right when under the heat shields).

The heat shields fit perfectly on my '07. If you haven't got it on yet here are a few tips. Install the system without tightening anything. Install the tranny mount a little loose, a 1/4 inch Allen wrench with a cut down short arm will make tightening that tranny mount easier after the exhaust is lined up and you're tightening everthing. Use a dab of anti sieze an the flange studs, the two 1/2 long black spacers go on top of the standoffs on the muffler. Tighten everything from back to front. Oh yeah, make sure the muffler clamp is flush with the front end (inlet) of the muffler. Tighten the clamp to 150 in. lbs. If you dont have that clamp positioned right the muffler can slide back (has happened to a lot of guys) and the bell shaped heat shield wont slide forward far enough to meet the headers heat shields.
