Check your exhaust header flange nuts at the cylinders. I went to remove my factory header today because my dressers are going to be here soon and they were all loose. The top nut of the front cylinder was loose enough for me to remove it by hand.

I couldn't believe they were that loose.

What I have found is after you install the pipes and get them warm, after they cool re-tighten. Then after a few hundred miles, re-tighten them again. Just dont crank down on them till they break. I use a 1/4" drive ratchet and extension so I don't overtighten, but can still get them plenty tight. I also use a dab of anti-seize on the studs so they dont weld themselves to the nuts with rust.
