Chicago Harley has it (part # 40274-08) for $199.96 + shipping.

I went ahead and bought the SE Compensator this past Saturday. My local dealer had an open house and everything except bikes were 20% off. I'll be installing in the near future and will report my thoughts.

That's a smokin deal!

That's less than our cost through Harley, but what are they charging for shipping?

The item lists at $250.00 and I don't know what labor would cost as I do my own wrenching.
I recently had compression releases installed on what was a 103" but was turned into a 107" during the compression release install. I was told by the mechanic doing this work that he suspected the compensation "spring" was broken due to a loud clank he could hear when shutting down the engine during the several dyno runs he did. I agreed to the approx. $400 repair......don't know if I got the standard or the SE version. Anyway he showed me the part and sure enough it is a spring and it was broken. The spring and housing surrounds the rotor....still don't understand what it's for.

I didn't hear the "clank" before this work was done and still don't....sheesh.
