I'd have to see the color in person before offering an opinion. Going by how it looked on the web site, the Red Hot Sunglow/Smokey Gold combo I bought was way down at the bottom of my list of colors to consider. When I finally saw one in person, that was all it took. I'd go back to the colors I thought I liked before actually seeing the RHS/SG from time to time but then I'd run into another one on the showroom floor somewhere and finally had to admit, that was the color I was going to get. I've never regretted it.
If Harley had offered the RG Ultra two years ago, that's what I'd be on. I had rented an Ultra and a RG back in 2008 and like the RG a lot but I wanted the bells and whistles that came on the Ultra so that's what I bought. As it is, I'm very happy with my Ultra and have committed enough money in various mods and accessories that there's no way I'd consider trading over at this point. I'd be much more likely to try to put a RG fairing on my Ultra. Besides, I like the classic Electra Glide look too!
Ride Safe,
