Default Bub 7 question
I have a set of bub 7 td on my 08 ultra I'm wondering if the baffles can become loose seems like I have a high pitched rattle. Might be the baffle not sure I have tightened everything down. If they loosen up how can I secure it.

Have you sprayed the rubber muffler mount grommets with silicone spray yet? Give it a try, you might be surprised to find that the high pitched rattle is actually a squeak that is caused by the vibration of the mufflers. If this doesn't work, then make sure your heat shields are good and tight. I really doubt that there would be an issue with the baffles being tight.

Thanks highwayking didn't think it was the baffles but couldn't think of anything else. will try the spray. Already secured the shields and mounts.

Yes, over time the baffles will rattle in both the Bub and Rinehart mufflers. The three sets I have over the years all rattled over time.
