Be careful for the front brake light switch on the housing. If you brake it a replacement is very expensive.

Thanks, moved it slightly and it took the shake out. Moving it too much made return to closed throttle sluggish. Just a little works fine. Thanks again for the tip Nute.

Install them dry for a Test grip" that way you can see the type the grip you want..
I did this and found the best comfortable postion was on the rubber vs chrome..where you fingers lay..
It does make a differance and if i recall the instructions mention it.
Once I found it I put a small mark with sharpie on the final install..because once you stop it 's not moving again

I had the ISO grips on my sportster and really like them except they made my hands smell like rubber. I would like to put them on my ultra but not real fond of the rubber smell. Any way to get rid of the rubber smell?

Excellent suggestion. Putting this one in my mental bank for when my grips come in.

Doubling down on that -- *Really* make sure you get the fit you want before installing the left grip. A lot of people like the "chrome strip" on top, a lot like it in line with the brake lever (I prefer the strip on top, personally).

With the TBW right grip, you have a limited number of positions -- Get the right grip where you want it and *then* match the left. Because the left grip ain't movin' once it's on there...

Seconding the tape also -- I have two strips of electrical tape (probably three times around the bar) on my left grip after it came off in my hand on the highway once...
