Sorry, but a pistol does no good in the saddlebag. WEAR THE DAMN THING. You gonna ask the bad guy to to hold on till you get your piece out? The purpose of concealed carry is to handle unexpected problems. Expect the unexpected!
I have to agree, plus I have a problem leaving the bike with the pistol still in it. Nice job, well made, but I just don't like the idea
That's easy for you to say! Some of us live in states where 'carrying' isn't allowed...under any circumstances!! I don't think I need a 'piece' to protect me & mine while going down the road, it's the stopovers and overnights where 'surprising activities' happen, that I want it for.
Don't want to be awaken in the middle of the night by the alarm and can only watch out the window as some 'lowlife' tries to take my ride!

1. Your weapon is in the saddle bag...while the alarm is going off.
2. Most places it is illegal to shoot someone for stealing your bike. (If you are 'inside watching out the window, you are not in danger.' Call a cop. Walk outside and shoot someone is called manslaughter. But you knew that.)
Nice rig to carry a weapon in the bag. If that is on the roght bag, looks better for a 'lefty'. Mounted in the other bag may be better for a right hander?

When I go inside a motel for the night my revolver goes with me. In states where it is legal to open carry, I do so. Have you ever timed how long it takes a cop to arrive at an attempted robbery scene? A shot or two 'in the area' of a thief does a lot to discourage him from continuing his task!! I will not stand idly by and watch some scumbag take what’s mine as long as I have the means to prevent it!! I still have the right to protect what is mine.
I think you are arguing for the sake of an argument!!
Thanks for the excellent idea! Future project! Also, you can shot someone stealing your bike here! I work with a fellow who shot a guy in his back yard stealing his truck! Cops were super cool about it all, and come to find out this guy had stolen several others in the area! Not sure if its totally legal, or a case by case deal, but we have a "Make my day law" which covers alot of stuff like that. You can stand your ground in OK.
Beautiful job, the craftsmanship is first-rate. I like that you even painted the aluminum to blend in with the bag. I may have to give this a shot (no pun intended) myself. I have my CCW, but for times when you go into a restaurant or store with a "no weapons" policy it'd be a handy way to store a pistol. Thanks!
