iPod interface
of course. it would increase the volume of any output from the hk head unit. i've got an arc 125.2 thats just been waiting to get installed. for about 6 months now. i've just not been all that motivated to take the outer fairing off the roadglide.
Ok, i've been looking online for ideas and i stumbled into this. It's called HDPD Plus and is an IPOD interface. goes for 279.00 and made by "one the move technology". They have pictures and a video on YouTube looks similar to the $400+ harley one.

this is what i put on my bike this year. works awsome and is way less than HD one.
So it's $280 versus $400 BUT you can get the HD one from LSHD for 20% off (and free shipping right now) which makes it $320. Suddenly not such a big difference . . . I guess for my money I'd stick with the HD part -- but that's just me.
I hear you, and it's not in my lane or interest in connecting an IPod or my IPhone on my bike. I say to each their own, i was just trying to pass info in case someone was looking for a more reasonable price for something that does the exact same thing. So for now i'll stick to my Garmin with a 32 GB card.
This isn't a "i can get it cheaper than you" thing. As a said earlier, some are really looking for a better deal for a winter project and not break the bank before the holidays. I get a 10% anyway for Active military, if i really need any HD parts at a better price, my brother works at a dealer and i can get his discount if i really want it and it's more than 20%. and as you also mentioned, that's just me too, i'm not trying to "yuck someones yum" just help if i can.

The ONLY thing I miss about my CVO, is the iPod interface. It was nice that the setup charged the iPod and kept it away from the elements in the saddle bag lid. I am researching what to do now for my RGU, and still have not decided. I used it A LOT on my CVO, but the retail on the kit is not cheap, and as I came to find out, the setup for the saddle bag with the other cables is NOT included in the interface kit. There's just so much other stuff I want for the bike and the price of this hurts, lol............
It did work great for me on my old CVO, though, never a hiccup, and I never had to worry about the battery dying.

Suddenly a bigger difference.
