pettifogger1...in the garage and out in the sun I can see a BIG difference in the finish. The SS have an oh so subtle darker hue to the finish plus you can see the swirl marks from the polishing process.
You obviously know exactly what you're looking for and won't be satisfied with anything else, and I'm sympathetic to those feelings. Maybe you can find someone to chrome the SS bars that you like? There's most likely a shop fairly close to you than can do that, and it won't (shouldn't) entirely deflate your wallet. Good luck.
I am 6' tall, 32" inseam and 34" sleave: you would be happy with Wild 1s Chubby WO575.
A little Pullback, a little wider and a little taller. Not much but I can ride relaxed now, not leaning to reach the bars.
I put the wild one 575's on my Fatboy and love em. Going to put on my 06 Street Glide. I too wanted more pullback, and the 575's have the most I could find except for some Roadglide beachbars. They are inch and a quarter and chrome, very heavy duty. I called Wild One and they said +4 inches on all cables, but wires would fit stock.
Did you have to replace any wires/cable with the 575's? Also - is the hand/wrist in a better postion or pretty much same as stock?
you can reroute the clutch cable. i ran mine through the rubber grommet under the handle bar. has a nice curve to it. i just did not want to wait another 4 days for the longer clutch cable. if the stock one ever gives me a problem i have the +4" one to replce it with now.
I'm 5'6". The Chubbies WO517 are perfect for me on my 09 Road King Classic. Brings the bar up and back. No change from stock cables was necessary. Highly recommend.
