hoping its just the bulb on my 09 street glide. just noticed it a little while ago. low beam is ok and the indicator light for the high beam comes on when i switch to high beam, just no light on high.
hey frozensoul, if you have an auto zone or advance auto parts nearby, you don't have to go to the dealer for their $30 dollar bulb. to check if it's the bulb you only have three phillips screws to deal with. the bottom of the headlight surround or chrome ring is one, and then the three that hold the headlight in place. use a voltmeter or test light to check if you have power to the high beam lead, that is if you care to check it. sylvania/osram are the bulbs i use and not the super high wattage ones either. it's easy to change out bulbs and much cheaper at an auto parts store. all you need is the h-4 halogen bulb. even walmart has them.

Might not be the bulb. I had same thing hapen to me with a new bulb and one of the wire connectors was just loose. Try that first. Save the bulb money.
If you pull the light out the front you can check the wiring with a 12V test light. Personally the 7 screws to pop the batwing off is easier that trying to get it out the front, especially if you have a trim ring.
if it is the bulb, put a Sylvania SilverStar bulb in it, you won't regret it
