Noise After Starting?????
Went out to start the bike this morning on the jiffy stand in neutral, started fine, walked away to get my helmet and heard a clunk(kinda like when you shift but higher pitched) sounded like it came from primary side.Rode to work and kinda forgot about it(A.D.D). Left work ,started it in neutral while on bike and heard the same cluncking. Had a few things to do when i got home, when i was done(A.D.D.) i got to thinking about this, so i started bike and it did it again after about 30 seconds. I was 20+ft. away when i heard it this morning(loud). Only seems to do it when bikes cold. Anyone have this happen??Bike is a 2010 Streetglide. Yes it's under warranty, but it's driving me nuts tonight.

I recently had a noise from the primary area and it sounded terrible. Kinda like gears grinding or like dragging your jiffy stand on the ground. It wouldn't last long but it would get your attention. My 2009 has 10456 miles on it and I brought it to the local dealer. They called me two hours later and told me it was the starter engaging while it was running. They replaced some kind of switch and so far I have not heard the noise again.
Get your scoot to a shop for a looksey. It might not be as bad as it sounds. JMHO
