Default Throttle problems!

I put new bars on my 99 RKC, EFI. I needed a little more pull, and these are narrower. The throttle worked perfectly before I removed it. Now, it drags and doesn't snap back to closed. I have greased the bar with some grease I had around, axle grease. Anyway, I didn't disassemble the throttle, the cables aren't binding, and I am stumped. Do I need a lighter grease? I did a search and didn't really find anything similar to mine. Thanks in advance.

Loosen the 2 t27 fasteners that hold the master cyl.on and the 2 t25 fasteners that hold the switch housing and slide the whole assembly out just a fraction...It is binding on the end of the handlebar.
