I am thinking about lowering my RK. I was looking at HD parts, but I was wondering what else is out there. Can anyone tell me if the ride is significantly changed -- good or bad. I have lowered cages before and the ride tends to get a little stiffer. Not so bad when it is a hot rod, but I am not sure about a bike. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Right now i have the progressive 440 11.5 " adjustables, which lowered it 1.5"Nice ride, easy install it's one of the top of the line shocks out there. If you lower the back i recommend doing the front as well for better stability. If your interested i'll give you a smoking price on mine because i'm going with the airride system.BTW i have the progressive lowering springs up front, help minimize the nose dive when you get on the front brakes and get the look you want.
