Looking to remove my front wheel on my 09 street glide and have never done it before is their anything that I need to watch out for,going to change my fender, and what are the torque rating for replacing the wheel. thanks
Front axle nut 60-65 ft. lbs.
Axle holder nuts 132-180 in. lbs.
Front Brake Caliper screws 28-38 ft. lbs.
Before the manual ****'s get a hold of you, it is highly recommended to purchase/find a repair manual if you plan to do much wrenching on your bike. There are some good pointers in the manual that could save you from breaking something during the repair work.
Pay attention to your wheel spacers. The ones on my '07, if memory serves, are different widths and you need to put 'em back them same way you took 'em out. Also, anti-seize on the axle is never a bad idea.
