RK has idling problems
OK, first off, i'm a newbie. Mechanically inclined, suck at diagnosing problems. Here's what's going on....
2005 Road King FLHRI - 95" kit, Cam, exhaust, Power comm.III
1. took bike for ride. got home. washed bike. .went to start-no start..
2. Finally got bike to start....idles irratically..pops and idles high..
3. got trouble codes from bike. po373 & po374. Crankcase position sensor.
4. bought CKP and replaced...-- Problem still there. also noticed that when Run/Stop switch is OFF, there is something on the intake manifold that is RUNNING, with everything turned off. i turn the switch to RUN---it goes away..?
Bike idles at about 2000- 2500 rpms.
Any ideas..? i'm thinking throttle position sensor...Hope someone has some insight so i don't have to replace evrything on the bike...

My problem turned out to be that I was getting water into my control module connector, where my power Commander cable hooks up. I blow dryed the connector, wrapped with electrical tape. Haven't had the problem since.
