Anybody got a 10 Brilliant Silver Pearl Street Glide with a color matched inner fairing? If so, I'd sure appreciate a pic or two? I'm beginning to wonder if this is the one color in the 10 Street Glide line up that looks better left alone in black?

 

I will have mine back from paint in a couple of days.

 

I'd also like to see how it will look. Not sure if Silver Pearl would be right for the inner fairing. Thought about doing vivid black instead (will have to wait til next year though, spent too much this year on accessories, pipes, etc).

 

A good friend of mine here on the forum (Texas Bowhunter) has an 09 Pewter SG that he had the inner fairing painted. IMO, after seeing his bike, that is now probably the first accessory I would add to a bike. I've seen several other bikes with inner's painted and, except for new wheels, is one of the nicest things you could do to a bike.

 

I painted mine black with silver metal flake. Can not really see in the pictures but you can really see the metal flake in the sun. I was gonna go with the same color as the bike but it was too much silver with all the chrome and stuff.

 

Here is an 09 with a silver inner fairing. It's a bad pic but you get the idea.

 

I think I'll end up going with the vivid black when I get around to swapping out my inner fairing, the silver is just too much with all the chrome and silver face gauges.
