I'm having some painting done for my '08 Street Glide trying to decide what to do. Bike is Pearl Black getting some lowers with speaker pods done so i thought i'd paint the inner fairing wile i'm at it.
Option #1
color match to bike
#2
Hydro Graphics -carbon fiber
#3
Paint then add some air brushed graphics, a couple skulls maybe a bonny finger, this is the one I'm have the most debate about don't want anything too loud just subtle grey ghost effect?
Any pic's of air brush graphics would be great there is lots out there for color match and the carbon fiber effect but not much custom stuff.
would just like something a little unique

I went with the color matched on my '08 Black Pearl Street Glide. I kicked the idea of a vivid black inner fairing around, but ended up with the color matched and glad that that's the route I went. I'm in the process of converting over to a Road Glide and ordered the Black Pearl inner fairing for it too.
I recently did a painted inner fairing on my 08 Black Pearl SG too. I went with a local shop who matched the Black Pearl color to the bike as it is now (opposed to ordering a 'new' one from HD).
They did a great job and it was well worth the money. My flat black original was fading quickly. Bike looks great, big grin in my face all the time. Wish I did it earlier.
If we ever hit some period of rain here in SoCal, I will pull my inner fairing off and paint it to match the black that the rest of the bike is painted...I painted the rest of it, matching colors won't be an issue, obviously, it's just a big job, and before I try that project, I want to have the ignition tool in my hands...in case, ya know...
I have the 98 peace off. edition electra it`s two tone lite blue metalic and dark blue, I went with the lite blue met. on the inner, it really jumps out
