Freedom Shields
Well after using the good old $30.00 dollar after market shield for the past three years I was looking for a recurve for a fair price. Sure I could of did the same as last year and order the good old replacement and bend it myself like I have in the past but they are only good for a year and I always end up with vertical stress cracks in them. After looking around and reading many post on what was out there I went and tried the new Freedom Shield 9in smoked. The shield itself is much thicker then stock at .165" thick plus is is also DOT approved and the price shipped was less then $100.00.
After 125 miles I can say the following about it.
The 9in shield is great nice radius it moves the air very well not much spill over fit and finish is perfect. It has a wider profile then stock and you can feel the difference around the edges of the faring. So far I'm super impressed.
