IMO, I don't own a 07, but have rode my Buds 07 Road King........
YES, It's a sweet ride, plus has more seat of pants power than my SE Ultra.

OK, I have a 07 Black Cherry Ultra due to arrive on the 2nd of November and I am VERY Nervous about buying it now. I have an 05 Heritage and wanted to upgrade to an Ultra for my "final" style of bike.
Should I wait or get an 06 instead???? I asked my dealer today about any problems he has heard about the 07s and he said that some folks talked about a "noisy" 5th gear but thought it was nothing to worry about......
on the way down to bike week we stopped at a h-d shop ,talked to one mech. and he walked away from us , not saying a word ,the other said ( i hear ya) said they have had complaints too , to me 6th is no good under 70, at times i was going in and out 5th and 6th ,said hell with it ,kept it in 5th the whole time ,6th you have no power at all ,even in 5th at 50mph i had to get in 4th for good acceleration, H-D got to fix this, think it is a matter of time ,but they could at least admit there is a problem , so we all are not crazy dumass to other who does not have the problem ,also met a lot of 07 owners that were hot about this , and told them about this forum .
Why dont you quit your crying and ride the darn thing ?You sound like the biggest cry-baby why are you making a big deal out of nothing ? Read the same posts from a few members over and over again . The reason the dealer cant find anything is because it is normal and your wasting all of there time. Also would you quit posting in this section there is a tranny section , am I right ? Last but not least get a life CRYBABY.
When do you get your money back ? Have you used the lemon law on your bike ? Has anyone ?

Dealers are in a bind either way.the MOCO needs to take the brunt of this not the dealers.Unfortunately the dealer takes the lose in the end.Looses business from angry buyers, sales fall off,and lemon laws goes against them.
I have spoken alot on my issues w/my bike,it is now in different hands and I can no longer reply to this unil outcome is settled.Keep the heat up if you want your bikes repaired, replaced etc.
After hearing mine on dyno,I didnt believe it was in the trans either.Mine was transferring if this was the cause.Id like to see somebodys bike get fixed by this.
I think the aftermarket will step up with a fix for this defect. HD is sticking to nothing is wrong. I have decided to wait on the aftermarket, to many smart people in the aftermarket like Bert Baker - Baker Drivetrain.
