The whine from my bike was not as loud as the whine I've been hearing from some of my friend's '07's, but yes, the IDS did completely remove the whine (and again it did not seem to matter if the bike was cold or hot).
Ride safe (and sober)! Irecentlyhada friend of mine and his wife who were riding home from a concert about 3 a.m. on their 2007 Ultra Classic and he left the road (US 31 on Michigan's west side). Both were in critical condition and in ICU. She was recently discharged and he is now out of ICU, but had to have surgery on his torn liver. He broke both arms and some ribs as well. I would ask for prayers, but I think mine have already been answered, just knowing they survived the ordeal.

Yea Rick....glad you finally got a good one after what we've been through. You're just alot braver than me. I'm not gonna give harley the satisfaction of making any more money off me!! I'll just keep telling everyone that asks "whats that awful sound"? I just keep telling them "thats normal"!!! I get that "do what" look and smile and say that what everyone tells me....

Yea LP.....then whats next? Does it or will it ever end??? Next I'll have $26,000 in a bike that ony probably worth $15,000 or so already. If and when the trasmission comes out, I'm gonna go with a whole new Baker of some sort. The engine...and S&S or Rev Tech.
