Have about 200 mi. on this seat. Yes, it is considerably lower than the stock 2010 FLTK seat, and a dab too far forward(a nut crusher). It is not as comfy as the stock seat, but I felt some sacrifice had to be made to make it lower. Appears that MeanCityCycles will get to modify this seat for more comfort, i.e., move the back portion rearward 1 1/2" and maybe take some padding out of the nose. Just my .02.
Pic of my super-reduced reach seat on my 2010 Road Glide. Absolutely right, it tucks you in tight in the bucket it creates. I don't feel like it pushes me too far forward. Pretty happy with it in general

Wow..... That is insane! I saw it in the catalog but couldnt imagine it on a bike. How tall are you?
Im a big guy, 6'2" 240lb so that seat would kill me!

What worries me more is the difference in height between the driver seat and the passenger seat. I can't see my GF sitting behind on a seat like this. She 5'9" and she already complains that she doesn't get enough protection behind me (5'11") on the stock seat.
My wife and I took a 2011 RK for a test ride today with a super reduced reach seat on it. I am 5' 4" 130-135lbs, my wife is 5'2" (and a little bit more). This seat makes this bike doable for me and probably one of the most comfortable for my wife. I did tell the owner of the dealership that it pretty much locks me into one spot with no wiggle room (for or aft). I needed the seat to move me that much forward to be able to feel comfortable for a long ride, and give me use of the boards. Been riding for 42 years and I've rode maybe 12-18 Harleys and none have fit until the addition of the reach seats became available. I may be giving a deposit for my first HD this week! Kudos to the dealer who was able to acquire a super reduced reach seat for me to try even though they are on national back order! Hope this helps. John
Thanks for the good info - I have one on order with a tentative 9/15-9/20 ship date, so your review is timely. I'm about 5'7" with sort of a long torso/short leg lash-up, so I'm hoping the super reduced reach seat will help stabilize me on stops, etc. on my FLHTC. Had an '07 Deluxe before and the seat height on it was just right, so of course it made perfect sense to trade for something that didn't fit me.
Also bought an almost new Mustang Vintage solo w/backrest + passenger pillion that's been reworked/lowered/memory gelled by MCC; it's supposed to be here this next week so it'll be interesting to see how that works as well.
I'll post my opinion RE: the SRR seat after I have a chance to take a ride on it. Thanks again.

I'm 5'7, 175lbs. I was pretty comfortable with the factory seat as I never put both feet down anyway (right stays on the board/brake) but being lower never hurts (unless you're bigger than me, then this seat might 'hurt').
