Craftsman Pro, aluminum, low profile, works great.
BountyHunter has good taste. I got that one. DON'T BUY THE ONE FROM "HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS". I had one. The hydrailcs broke, locking the bike in the air. Got my hand ripped open by a spring trying to get the bike down. My kids can often be heard yelling "Mom, Dad needs an ambulance again!"

I went to sears and bought the yellow jack, Took it home, lifted my bike and (I) didn't feel comfortable with the movement. Took it back and bought one of these
The Sears brand works well, although it's similar, if not exactly like the Costco or Pep Boys brand. Made in China, I believe.
I've heard stories, like ZookHD above, where the hydraulics went awry, OR one of the bolts sheared, either dropping the bike
or leaving it stranded up in the air. I replaced all those cheap bolts for the strongest ones made, which I believe is Grade 8....$25.00 or so.
Works well, I'll keep my fingers crossed & eyes peeled on the hydraulic issue tho...
Thanks for all the info guys, I ,m really impressed with the verity of jacks. That j&s jack/lift , that Bay 13 suggested, I was verry inpressed with the demo video of it. That sold me, I just went on line and ordered one for myself . I am a little skiddish of picking up something that weighs 900# and getting under it. thanks again. Dan
