some had had trouble with the inner mating gear of the Krapkin grip coming loose and sticking the throttle, or no-throttle.
if you have one of these take it off your bike

I had this very thing happen to me with the Kuryakyn grips. Went to Bandera Texas for a rally and kept noticing the throttle grip was moving after a while of riding. I would have to wait till we stopped and twist the grip backwards to get it back where it should be. Very annoying.
I called Kuryakyn last week to find out if there was a fix for this. After I explained what was going on they just ask for my shipping address and said they would ship out a brand new pair. These were on my bike when I bought it and I have no idea how long they have been on there. Pretty good customer service!
I almost got taken out when my buddy's throttle jammed on him, he was lucky he didn;t get hit as he shot through a stop light.
He blipped the throttle on a downshift and that's when it jammed.

Loose goose double throttle spit neck valve needs to be bled bad my wife normally does this + Muffler Bearing also can be a problem if you don't lube it correctly.
I have no idea what you just said or meant to say Twincam. Muffler bearing? double throttle spit neck valve?
Oh well.....I just swapped out my stock bars to the heritage style (08' RKC with throttle by wire). Noticed the heritage bars had a bunch of gunk on them when I took the packaging off. Didn't look like grease but maybe it was grease. So I cleaned them off with brake cleaner and put everything back together and rode the bike for a few hundred miles, tweeking the perfect bar positioning that was most comfortable. Now the throttle grip is binding on me. I loosened the switch housing a little and the binding disappeared but the housing screws are loose. I wonder if the binding of the grip is caused by the plastic wiring tube inside the switch housing? Maybe I need to inspect and reposition the wiring to not contact the grip somehow? I dunno. Maybe just some good lithium grease inside, like the others have suggested.
Yesterday I got pounded with rain for 2 straight hours and noticed my throttle would stick in place when I released my hand. I thought it might be due to the amount of rain so the next morning I checked it, still happens. I will be bringing it in to get fixed but just wondering if anyone else experienced their throttle sticking. BTW, just had my 5K service done so maybe they did something then and I just never noticed it.
I thought I was crazy! I just drove through a blinding rainstorm and now the throttle is sticking on my 2006 Road King. I dont see the connection, but obviously theres something there.
