Default Black clip on throttle body support bracket???

Ok this must be something new on the 2010's. There is a clip that comes from the back and over the front of the throttle body support bracket. Was gonna take the bracket off to install my a/s but got this little surprise. What is it for and does it attach anywhere behind the bracket???

I tied mine up to some other wires with some zip ties when I installed my FM a/c.

The black plastic clip holds the harness for the automatic compression releases. You can remove the clip and easily zip tie the harness out of the way.
