Faring damage
Been there done that .. Will let the painter pros tell you the news of a full repair .. But will add Black is very forgiving, can take a little touch up paint and very slowly blend it back in and only on very close up inspection is it noticeable..
I took a spill and my fairing looked just like yours I bought a new one for about
four hundred dollars Deep Cobalt Blue. I sold mine to a painter at a body shope
for a hundred and he fixed it so you could not even tell it had been damaged

I was hoping that it would be an easier fix since the damage is primarily in the black and didn't hit the color transition. There are a few stress cracks in the paint near the top of the faring as well.
It's easy fix talk to some auto body paint shop should be less then $100 since it's only one color. I had it done twice with my wife's bike for 2 tone and pin stripe was $90 for each incident. All in all if you need a new one ask Chicago HD to look for it should be about $350 or less but it will take some time to get it, till then use a bra to cover it.
Doh! Ask the dealer if they have a painter they use for repairs. My favorite local dealer has someone that comes in on Tuesdays. Admitedly he'd probably charge $300 for that damage (and clearly it's not just within one color) but when he's done it's perfect.

If that's just gloss black (none metallic) any body shop can fix it cheap if you bring the piece in. They'll just smooth it and mask off the black & paint all the black in one shot, wetsand & then clear the whole fairing.
