Mechanical Gurus Advice needed....
Okay so I purchase the Zippers Max-Flow Air Filter kit......
Slip ons and then install and then take it to the dealer to have a ECM flash
I would love to get rid of the heat; but I think that I could deal with the heat right now considering it will be fall / winter for the next few months here in Virginia and it won't stop me from riding.
Then in Spring could get the header pipes and tuner?

Just click the link and read away , for about a grand you will have a sweet running scooter. I want to wait untill thick of winter sets in and will probably get cams also. They are testing brand new cams for these engines and have dyno charts posted on the web site.
My thoughts are a
stage 1 = fuel controller exhaust and air intake upgrades.
stage 2 = all above and performance cams.
stage3 = all above and reworked heads, Jugs and slugs.

Army, although you may be able to deal with the heat, the cause of excessive heat is due to a lean fuel/air mixture, this is not good for the internal components over long term. The PC V, ECM Flash or any other fuel management system, using a optimized Fuel MAP, will apply the correct amount of fuel for optimum performance.
Again, short term running with stage 1 upgrades and stock ECM won't damage the engine, long term will have a negative affect. Just make sure that what ever you do it will be compatible with futre upgrade plans.
Don't waste your $$.
Go w/the PC-V..completely supported by Fuel Moto. Call them, they will help you with what you need.
(Don't mean to sound like an advertisement for them,
but they have helped out many on this forum, including myself.)
Heat is always an issue with these newer bikes. Trust me.
PC-V Plug and play.
Easiest and cheapest..
I happen to think as most do on this forum that 250 degrees and up
is too hot for the most part.
F/M told me that moco suggested operating temperature is 190-230.
So by that defintion, anything over 230 is too hot.
Give FuelMoto a call.
Wether or not you buy anything from them, they will give you the 'straight skinny' on a 'Stage 1' setup.
Thanks for your service.

High flow A/C, V&H head to tail exhaust, Mapped PCV for your set-up you will not be sorry.
If you dont like V & H, Fuel Moto has some very nice exhaust systems of their own,(Jackpot), all tested and mapped in house. Why anyone would try to piece this stuff together is beyond me, go with what works, and these guys can hook you up.
Enjoy your mods......... Ride On............
