Default Another handle bar question

I replaced the factory bars on my 03 RK with 04 custom bars but they are still too short and not comfy. To do this I had to replave the brake lines too but not wires and cable.
I really need to get these higher to my body. As you can see in the picture it's not that comfy. I'm tall so thinking mini apes which should still be below my shoulders. Any suggestions?

Yeah I hate to but I guess i should. Also I think I'm going to replace the spokes with mags. I like being able to plug a leak on the road instead of patching a tube.

Well I better get the check book out

Got to a dealer that has the fit shop..you know the horse that you can change the seat and the bars and try different ones...You a pretty big boy...higher bars would make you look more comfortable on the bike. You look cramped...

+1 on the fit shop or look around and see if someone has something close to what fits you before you buy

My father is 6'4" and I just put 16" apes from HCC on his 2010 RK. He loves them! Says they fit perfect. I'm 5'11" and they feel pretty comfortable to me also.

Is there a bike in that picture? Oh wait, I see a front wheel a lot of guys on here have been very happy with the Khromewerks Sweepers, me included. Very comfortable wrist angle and a 100% improvement over stock, also very inexpensive.

WideGlide bars will bolt right up with existing wiring/cables/brake line. I ran them on two (2) RG's for nearly 100k miles.

Last winter, I broke down & get a set of custom sized "BR Bars" (required all new cables, wiring, & brake line) but I sure dig'm.
