Just another bar question

Thinking about either buckhorns or mini apes on my 04 883C. Any Comments would be appreciated

Rode a Sporty with Buckhorns, I hated the Position on my hands on the grips with the BH's, really awkward for me anyway. Don't really care for Apes either, but that is just me. wanna loves his Mini-Apes.

i've had beach cruisers, drag bars, and mini apes. rode with buckhorns and hated 'em. so far my apes are very comfortable. i've not done a road trip yet though. but i guarantee you won't like buckhorns. egghhh.

I busted up my neck yrs ago and the stock bars made my whole left arm go numb after about 10 mins. I finally sat on the bike closed my eyes & put my arms up where I could find a comfotable position. I ended up buying wide glide mini-apes 10". They fit perfect and I could ride all day. I am now geting ready to put 14' apes on my Heritage to get a better riding position.I'm fortunate to have a great dealer and parts dept, they spent several hrs bringing out different bars to get the exact fit I was looking for. Try going to your dealer and sit on a bike and have them measure & find exactly what you need. Setting up your bike for your body makes one heck of a differance.

I've got buckhorns turned forward so the grips are higher, mounted with 4.5in risers, and I like them (they look different with risers). The buckhorns are verycomfortable if positioned properly... with them turned up like mine, they are not all that comfortable on the wrists. I would really like to have some tall apes, but I hate the look of mini apes.
