Just installed the PCV Retro on my '08 Road Glide. Ahhh....
The bike has the 103" Big Bore kit, SE Intake, and stock mufflers controlled by the HD download. Was running VERY hot during the summer and seemed to lose steam at about 3500 rpm.
The PCV, purchased from FuelMoto and running their map, toned down the heat a good bit and gave me very nice throttle response.
I'm going to try to resist aftermarket mufflers (had Monster Ovals at one time and they were a bit loud for touring). The stock pipes, with lots of miles on them, give a nice tone and are quiet on the highway.
Congrats brother. Great to hear, I'm also struggling between the PC-V and a SERT right now, as for the pipes, check out the Jackpot mufflers from FM, they have some sound clips on the website as well. I think you would be happy with there pipes for cruising.

The Supertrapp SE's also available from FuelMoto have a nice mellow deep sound and hardly any bark until you get on the throttle. They sound like heaven when you deccelerate down from higher rpms.. I can't say enough about them. Harely OEMd these as their Screamign Eagles for quite some time too. They are the ones where you can pick different ends and they screw on as two pieces.
