I have fitted V & H Monster Ovals to my 2011 FLHR (103cubic inch Australian market model). I have also replaced air filter and downloaded the street tuner etc. My problem is that the bike is still very quiet and as a result I am considering using the V & H power duals to give the bike a little more oomph and a little more sound/character.
I will eventually add 211 cams and SE heads to the bike, but not yet.
For those who have used the `POWER DUALS' what has been your impression?
I love my Power Duals. Easy to install and they have a good sound. I have them meshed with V&H slash cuts. Good classic V&H sound, plus the bike seems to perform a lot better.
I just put the V&H power duals, monster ovals, SE 255 cams on my 2011 Ultra Limited. The sound is great ( mom thinks its a little loud ) the bike runs great, a lot cooler, lots of power. Hope this helps.
Power Duals on my 2010 96" Street Glide ...Look awesome, sound awesome (w/4" Rineharts), and more performance. I highly recommend them. You should get a little more sound with the open headers (-vs- the oem catalytic header). However, in the end it may require a muffler swap for more sound.
