Default Motorcycle jack

Can I get some suggestions on a inexpensive jack that will work on the street glide?

A lot of folks use the Sears red jack or the Harbor Freight version. They work ok, but be sure to tie the bike down first.

Check your local Craigslist, you can often find them on there for cheap. Why? Because once people get serious about using a jack, they usually sell it and get a J&S or a Pitbull. I've got a J&S and it's a much better product that the Sears jack and much more stable.

But... it's your bike and your money.

Here we go again . . .

You spent how much for your bike? Now you want an inexpensive jack to raise it up so it can fall off????

You can get a Sears jack or Harbor Freight and you will get what you pay for. I'm sure I'll get flamed for saying it BUT all the flamers went the cheap route and have never used a good jack like the J&S. Yes, those jacks will work. You will also need to tie your bike down. Even then, the bike will swing and sway.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get a MORE expensive jack.

BTW, I don't work for J&S.

Have a Harbor Freight that I use on my Street Glide. Do a web search for Harbor Freight coupon and you can find a 20% off that you can print out for additional savings.

I have the J&S.... I love it... The Pitbull looks nice as well. I had their stands for my rockets years back and they were also high quality. I have had two Sears jacks. I tool the last one to the dump 2 weeks ago.. It was a big time POS IMO..
