I had them on my Fat Boy and when I traded for a Street Glide I put them on from day one.
I installed both myself (without any cussing) so it has to be a simple install.
Love my 1" floorboard extension and wondered why I never owned them for the last 4 years until this past June....Ahhhh, Loving every moment of stretching my legs out.
I ordered a set from HarleyGoodies pretty quickly after riding my new StreetGlide. I wanted mine in chrome and the good folks at HarleyGoodies allowed me to ship my stock flat black brackets back to them in exchange for the chrome version. Not one day of riding missed! Cant beat service like that! Probably the best "mod" I have made to my bike!
First time I rode the bike after selling my 78 FLH I thought the boards were too tight inboard. The extenders are a great mod. Bike should have come out of the factory that way. Don't get measurably more "scrape" on the Bagger.
I am 5'7" with a 30" inseam. On my 2009 Road King it was always a consious effort to keep my foot planted on the air cleaner side. I installed the HarleyGoodies floorboard extensions and could not be happier! Great mod! I took a ride from West Yellowstone to Cooke City and then down the Chief Joseph Highway to Cody, lots of tight turns and didn't even come close to scrapping. I've ordered the Kuryakyn long shifter peg and long brake pedal also. I'll let you know how they feel and look.
The extentions are wearing out my seat!! Everyone I show the extentions to has to sit on my bike to test them out!! The fit is so good with the stock bracket that my detail man had trouble seeing where they mated! He thought it was a 1 piece bracket! I'm loving them, they also help with the comfort of my highway pegs. Toe on the peg and heel on the floorboards.
