Default Floorboard extensions

Recently after spending some time on my new 2010 Road King I happened to ride a friends bike and noticed how comfortable his bike was shifting and braking compared to mine. The difference was the floorboard extentions. Reading this forums I noticed the Harley Goodies Retofit extensions. So I ordered the ones I though I need and got a call a liitle later from them correcting my order because I ordered Chrome when I had the black brackets. They asked specific questions that they didn 't need to and saved me the trouble of the wrong part. Thanks to them and I recommend these for the stock Road King big difference in comfort.

I just put a set on my 11. Had em on my 07 from day 1.

Ever wonder why HD doesn't offer a part like this? However, they do offer a kit to move the floorboards forward.

Can you spell . . . L . . I . . A . . B . . I . .L . . I . . T . . Y ???

You will scrape sooner on the touring bikes and even sooner on a lowered bike like the Street Glide.

My advice is to learn to scrape and get used to it so you don't freak out when it happens.

Tom is the man. I have had the pleasure to spend some time at his compound with him and he is a biker through and through and takes customer service a level beyond what most people consider to be good customer service. I run his extensions on my ride and have for well over 3 years now. The increased comfort is something I will never go without again.

I have considered these but I do a fair amount of scraping on my Road King. Will the extensions affect the scrape factor one way or the other? I would think so but it is usually my brackets scraping anyway.

The extension go between the brackets and the frame on touring models. Your brackets will be moved out the the side a tiny bit more. I think your lean angle is incresed less than 1*.
