I have an '05 UC that I am putting together a list of winter projects for. One of the things on the list is to install an oil cooler. The style of oil cooler that I am looking at indicates that it can not be installed on bikes with a HD display stand. My bike has a HD display stand that was installed by the previous owner at some point in the past.
What I would really like is some feedback on center stand use vs the display stand. What are the advantages (or disadvantages) of each type?
Presently I use the display stand when I park the bike in the garage & I know that I won't be riding for several days. I also use it when I check the primary case oil level. Will replacing the front display stand with the center stand help?
