Default HD Wind Splitter Windshield

Anyone seen the tint or tried one of these? The tint appears to be darker than the KW 12" but without seeing in person hard to tell. Thanks for any replies.

This thing must be about as popular as a fart in a submarine.

Actually, I rode a 2010 CVO Street Glide the other day that had one on it. It was on a "demo bike" the dealer had. I rode with a half-helmet and sunglasses. I was pretty impressed at how well it deflected the wind up over my head. I rode at 70mph without a problem. It looked better on the bike than I expected too. I think I'll be getting one for my bike soon. The tint was'nt too dark, or too light... just about right. Nice thick material too, not flimsey at all.

I picked up one this spring. Tint is dark but my comparison was stock shield. I like it. Looks good and keeps most wind off of me. No buffeting that I hear some comment on. It seems sturdier than the standard shield as well.

I am running one on my bike and am growing to like it. I get some wind on my upper head but not too bad. Amazingly it somehow keeps the bugs off me, even when the windshield and fairing are plastered with them. You don't want to have to look through it as the curve at the top distorts it, but it definitely looks better than the clear billboard I use to have. I don't get any more turbulence behind the fairing than I did with the stock full size windshield. I also added dark tinted lower fairing deflectors and the 2 together look really great.

Here's a photo of mine. I'm 6' 4" and it's a bit low for me. I haven't compared the tint to other brands
