remvoving the front fender

Hey I have a dumb question I have an 05 Road King and need to know if I can remove the front fender without removing the tire

You can by squishing the fender together but you risk creating a dent or seam while doing so or scratching the fender all up.

Better to take the brake calipers and then wheel off first. My opinion of course.

Whatever method you choose make sure you tape up the fender around the mounts to keep scratches at bay. For removal and install...

I found it easier to pull the wheel first.

I took my fender off without removing the tire. It wasnt bad. Just be careful.

It's so easy to remove the front wheel, why risk damaging the fender.

i didnt have a proper bike jack, so i have removed mine without pulling the front tire. its not too bad getting the fender out of the there. just be careful. the hard part is the tabs that are bent around the bolts that secure the fender to the forks. if you can get to where you can see them, get a long screwdriver or such and tap them back straight. its a lot easier then.
